The welding seam will have beading on its surface after welding. Clean them away so as not to affect the use and appearance of windows and doors. As for casement windows, the existence of welding beadings will influence the tightness between the frame and sash; while for sliding windows, it will influence the smooth operation.
The welding beading must be cleaned away under following conditions:
1, The welding beading on the frame, sash and latticed profiles and exposed indoors or outdoors should be cleaned away so as not to affect the appearance, tightness and matching of relevant structural members.
2, The welding beading at exterior sharp angles of four corners of the frame and sash should be cleaned away so as not to influence the installation or assembly of windows and doors or cause arm scratches when opening or closing the windows or appearance.
3, The welding beading inside the groove at the inner corners of frames, sashes or latticed profiles that influences appearance and the assembly of soft sealing strips should be cleaned away.

Use numeric-control and manual corner cleaner to clean away the welding beading. If shallow groove appears after cleaning away the welding beading, its depth should be¡Ü0.3mm. The outer corner is machined into a chamfer of (3-5)mm x 45¡ã, as shown by figure 1-12.

Pay attention to the following points when cleaning away the welding beading:
1, Clean away the beading when the corner is not cooled down completely after welding, when the internal molecular structure of the profile is stabilizing and not hardened completely. Thus, the action will not influence the corner strength or cause corner breaking.
2, Guarantee that the blade has correct angle and is sharp when cleaning away the welding beadings at two sides by a numeric control or manual corner cleaner.
3, Adjust depth of the cleaning groove when cleaning the corner of co-extruded profiles.
4, Do not leave notches on the structural member when cleaning away the welding beading.
