PVC Windows Advantage

High Performance - When properly manufactured plastics windows will comply with the requirements of BS 6375-1 and -2 and all other relevant British Standards. When installed in accordance with the BPF "Code of Practice for the Survey and Installation of Replacement Plastics Windows and Doorsets" W362, they will give high performance in service.

Long lasting and easy maintenance
The PVC frames are a high impact resistant, UV tolerant and white colour fast material. When glazed with laminated glass, UV transmission is reduced by up to 99%. They are fusion welded and the design ensures increased rigidity and long life. Unlike aluminium or timber frames, they do not swell, shrink, rust, flake, peel or fade. They are easy to clean, requiring only the occasional wipe down with a wet cloth and a little detergent.
Security
The PVC frames are reinforced with galvanised steel, making them difficult to cut or bend. Multiple locking points can be added, and when used in conjunction with toughened safety or laminated glass would make it virtually impossible for intruders to penetrate.

The double glass also thickens the barrier between the living environment and the outside world and the air space between the panes of glass create an added acoustic barrier. Fire resistance
Our PVC window frames are self-extinguishing thus they will not sustain flames once the fire source is removed. The frames have no paint or varnish which burn at relatively low temperatures and do not conduct heat as aluminium frames. This together with the double glazed glass increases the heat barrier which can provide extra time to fight or escape a fire.
